We got to go see our sweet "Owen baby" ( as livi calls him ) today. He was just the cutest thing we have ever seen. He sucked on his hand and opened and closed his mouth the whole time we watched him.... It was so clear it was like we just got to sit there and really look at him. 9.5 weeks seems too far away for me to be able to hold this sweet boy. I was nervous to have a boy, but watching him today my momma instincts kicked right in and now I'm just plain excited!!! To say that we are completely in love with this boy is a HUGE understatement:)

::: 27 WEEKS :::
I feel much larger than I did with Olivia :)
This little guy is sure growing.
At 27 weeks I'm thinking "holy crap, I still have a long way to go..."
lol it feels like I have been pregnant FOR EV ER.
My energy is getting lower again.
I loved the 2nd trimester perks of having it back.
Now its just the waiting game and getting more and more uncomfortable!
Olivia and Dad are loving being able to feel him better.
Some days he is super quiet for a LONG time
then other days he moves like crazy :)
My tummy feels EXTREMELY tight, if I stand up straight to fast or if I roll over in bed straight, I can feel all my muscles pull and get sharp pains for a sec.....
it's lovely!
Here's to another 13 weeks!!!
::: BABY BOY NURSERY TRIP :::
This last weekend, Josh and I took a little trip, just the two of us.
It was the first time we have ever left Olivia.
We figured with baby #2 coming in a few short months, we should try and get away just the two of us once before we have 2 kids :)
The trip was full of baby shopping and shopping for back to school stuff for Josh.
Since Owen is NOT a girl, we needed lots and lots of stuff for this guy.
It was like a giant shopping spree..... put whatever we wanted or needed into the cart:)
Our First stop was of course IKEA!
Josh and I really do have a problem with that store.
We love shopping there and getting lots of fun stuff.
We made trips to Babies R Us and Target for the little guy too.
Once we got home, there was no way I was just letting all that stuff sit in boxes when it could be looking cute in his room.
Plus, with Josh starting School the next day, I knew if I wanted any help from him it was going to have to be before school took over our lives and we rarely get to see him.
We had a BLAST putting it all together and setting up the main stuff for the nursery.
We still have lots of decorating to do for the walls and stuff like that, but at least I feel like if he came tomorrow we would have everything we needed to take care of him :)

::: BORROWMAN FAMILY REUNION :::
This last weekend we had our annual Borrowman reunion.
we headed up the Mt to our property on Thursday and stayed through Saturday.
Our weekend was filled with riding the 4 wheelers and Just enjoying each others company!
The food was great, the activities were fun, and the company was even better :)
Olivia loved staying in her tent, using her very own flashlight, and playing her heart out with cousins.

:::22 WEEKS:::
22 weeks and feeling much better :)
Olivia is loving the idea of baby Owen.
She kisses my tummy quite frequently and tells him she loves him.
Melts my heart everytime :)
I feel like I have most of my energy back.... Goodbye dirty house! I'm in the easy trimester and enjoying every minute of it.

::: ITS A..... :::
This week we were able to FINALLY go to the Dr. and find out the gender of our little baby.
We are so excited to announce that we are having a little
BOY!
To say that we were shocked was an understatement!
I had convinced myself that a little sister would be coming for Olivia and when she announced that it was not the case I was completely blown away!
Olivia kept telling the ultra sound tech
" No, its a girl, i'm having a sister"
It was VERY clear that he is a little boy:)
I could not sleep last night wondering what in the world am I gonna do with a little boy?!
Owen Joshua Meacham
is the name we have picked out so far.
Who knows if we will change it, but for now.... thats the name we are planning on :)
we went shopping and picked out a few little boy outfits after the ultra sound....
Boy clothes are so cute!
I'm the littlest bit sad to have to pack up all the baby girl bows and blankets that I kept out just in case....
but, they will be replaced by darling little boy things that I am so excited for!
I am excited to see if we make cookie cutter babies, or if he is going to look just like Olivia!!!
I still can't believe i'm typing he ;p

::: UTAH HOGEL ZOO :::
We stayed at Kyle and Mariah's house Friday night and then got up and went to the Zoo with them and Josh's parents.
All week long this is what Livi was excited for.
Our tatation "vacation" would not have been complete until we saw the elephants.
We asked her if she was excited to see the Bears to.
"No Mom, the bears don't like me"
Um.... okay?!
She loved when Dad would put her up on his shoulder and she could see over everyone and look at the animals :)
Notice there are no children wanting to touch the water ball.... ;)
She would get as close as she possibly could to the animals.
Olivia quickly found she had a new best friend in little Sam. They played so good the whole time we were with them. She loved playing dolls with her and Jaylyn. They loved the things she loved and that made her love them!
We were lucky enough to see Tyson, Lori, My dad and the kids at the zoo.
How could her day possibly get any better?
Throw Ava into the mix!!!
After a full day at the zoo we headed back to the Mathew's for some fun in the sprinklers and and fun relaxing night playing with cousins and visiting with family.
We stayed for church then headed home.
It was so nice to get away and just spend some time with my family and not worry about what needed to be done or who needed help doing something.
I felt pretty good most of the trip and I'm sure the little one in my tummy enjoyed family time as well ;)
